ABOUT ABOUT

Pittsburgh is a region that can and does thrive when we choose to care for each other.  When we give our time to converse and connect, we draw each other closer and create the power to lead our community to an even better future. Given the pace of our world, we tend to gather, mostly, for reasons that are more personal or organizational. The Big Table Pittsburgh is an opportunity to have a discussion that one may not have otherwise and participate in a conversation that will connect across communities.

The Children's Museum of Pittsburgh has partnered with Leadership Pittsburgh, Inc. to host public community conversations as part of The Big Table Pittsburgh on April 17.  Join us for a community conversation at the Children's Museum.

Light refreshments will be provided.  The Café will be open with a limited menu of items available for purchase.  Families are encourage to attend.  Children old enough to participate in the conversation are encouraged to register as a participant (suggested age of middle school and older).  For younger children, an area of the museum will be open for them to enjoy (with a parent or guardian) while their other family members join the conversation.  Free parking after 5pm.

The Big Table Pittsburgh is generously sponsored by:

  • Bank of America
  • Highmark together with Allegheny Health Network
  • The United Way of Southwestern Pennsylvania
